Description
Pure Raw Honey from New Zealand
Our organic, pure, raw honey comes from a beekeeper in South Island, New Zealand. First of all, we personally visited the bee farm and were satisfied with how the bees are cared for. In addition, we reviewed the honey extraction methods used on site. The beekeeper has maintained consistent quality for many years.
However, demand from other countries has increased recently. As a result, stock is limited and prices have gone up.
Natural Variation in Every Batch
Because of this, our honey may show natural differences between batches.
- For example, color and viscosity can vary from one harvest to another.
- In fact, these variations are completely normal and expected.
Since our honey is 100% natural, seasonal changes directly affect its color and texture. Therefore, no artificial processing is used to standardize the product.
Changes During Storage
Over time, you may also notice changes while storing the honey.
Raw honey contains natural components with different weights and colors. As a result, these components gradually separate.
For instance, heavier particles tend to settle at the bottom, while lighter particles rise to the top. Consequently, the top layer may look darker or more liquid in appearance.
Interestingly, in some cases, darker components are lighter in weight, which further contributes to natural visual variation.
Why This Matters
In order to create a uniform appearance, honey must be processed. However, this would require added ingredients or artificial coloring. For this reason, we avoid any form of processing.
Similarly, we apply the same principle to products like Vitamin C Complex and Kelp. Natural ingredients may cause slight color differences between batches. Nevertheless, we do not use artificial coloring to standardize appearance.
Simple Tip for Use
If you notice this, gently turn the container upside down for a short time. Then, the natural components will gradually mix again.
Final Note
Ultimately, these natural variations are a sign of authenticity. In conclusion, they show that our honey is raw, unprocessed, and truly natural.
